Gay Cincinnati - Famous hot Chili and much more
Someone once called Cincinnati the "Queen City of the West". Maybe that's because Cincinnati is home to a lively gay scene, with the gay community thriving in the Northside area of the city. There are many gay and lesbian bars, clubs, restaurants and hotels to choose from. Cincinnati is well known as a gay friendly... More

Bars & Clubs in CincinnatiNot a fanFirst of all let me say that I have never been a barfly.I am older too and would like a place that you can chat and is not so noisy,A guy tried to sell me pot there and I was really pissed off about it.I don't think I have been back since. The thing is,the bartender heard this, and didn't say a thing about it.I left and called a few minutes later and the bartender said he dealt with it. The only people that enjoy themselves here are the wonderful welfare crap that everybody has to humor. The only good time I ever had here was 1 Monday night when no one was there but Scott and I actually had a decent conversation with someone.Don't even approach ugly old guys. They don't know how to act in this town but they sure expect you to know how. If someone is friendly to you,you may as well expect that they want something (like buying them a drink) and I don't mean cute young guys.I have a real bad attitude about Cincinnati, period.

Bars & Clubs in CincinnatiNot a fanBeen there a few times.A friend of mine told me once at Spurs that there is nothing more unfriendly and scarier that a gay bar.Never been much of a bar fan and I really hate the way a certain crowd always hangs out in front of Simon says. I agree with the review that there is a certain criminal element feeling to this bar.So here's the deal.I will keep my money.

Bars & Clubs in CincinnatiWhile Others Come & Go, This Place is a Mainstay...Haven't been there in a (long) while -- haven't been anywhere in a (long) while, actually -- but this place used to be the coolest place to hang out w/your besties (male and female) and P-A-R-T-A-Y!. And, Yep, everyone DID know your name. Ah, the memories I have of Simon's in the 80s. It's a wonder I HAVE any memories from that place. I see from the site banner that the crowd has skewered somewhat older over the years or maybe it's just that the people in their 40s and 50s who go there now are the the 20-somethings who went there in the 80s and 90s (like me)...
