CLOSED: Universal Grille

I MISS MARY!! The old waiters and bartenders and even cooks! So much better before it became Universal. The service was horrible, as was the food. And when did restaurants stop serving food 7 days a week when they are open all 7 days?? They shouldn't call themselves a restaurant if they're only interested in looking pretty by the bar. Waste of time and space. Not to mention money.

If you like S&M (Stand and Model), this place is for you. You must be on the "A-list" to get good service. It is a great place if you don't know better, never left Cincinnati, like mediocre food, or have never experienced real fine dining. However, the Karaoke does have a good-sized crowd.

got rid of the good help -- kept the one's who roll their eyes when you tip 30% -- then wonder why you stiff them on the next round -- stouffer's frozen is better --

GREAT PLACE TO STOP IN BEFORE A NIGHT OF CLUBBING TO GET A BITE TO EAT, AND THE SERVICE IS AND ALWAYS HAS BEEN THE BEST!!!

Well, I was in Cincy for the weekend from Chicago. I just spent three nights at the Universal Grille, and not one single guy talked to me in all three nights! A few guys with their dates said hello in passing by, and the staff seemed nice, but I have to say that the bar patrons seemed awfully stuck up. I am sorry to say it, but it is true. What a waste of time.
