The Festival will begin on Tuesday, May 28 with the CityBeat Fringe Kick-Off Party and Birthday Celebration. Festivities begin with the official CityBeat Fringe Kick-Off Party and 10th Birthday Celebration on May 28 at 6:00pm. Many of the founders and original board members of the Cincinnati Fringe Festival will be around throughout the Festival and several of them will join us for the 10th Birthday Party. Guests will enjoy the sounds of the indie rock group, Bethesda, the launch of the 2013 Channel Fringe Hard-Hitting Action News Update, food, and more. Mayberry, S & J Bakery & Café, Take the Cake, BonBonnerie, and Pho Lang Thang will provide food and there will be Christian Moerlein drink specials all night long. It is a great way to meet the Fringe artists, staff, volunteers, and other audience members. A suggested donation of $5 will get you into this event.
“We're all honored to be a part of this, the tenth year for the Cincinnati Fringe Festival,” says Eric Vosmeier, Producing Artistic Director. “We're planning a number of special events to help celebrate this landmark birthday. The Kick-Off Party will be a huge birthday bash to celebrate. The Festival's founder, Jason Bruffy will be in town to help celebrate as will most of the original CinEx Arts board including: Liz Taylor Borntrager, Gabe Johnson, Jay Kalagayan, Jen Spillane, Jeff Syroney. We can't wait to welcome them back for the celebrations!”
