What does change look like to YOU?
Walnut Hills is changing. Our community’s long time residents and businesses are welcoming new investment into the neighborhood for the first time in years. We want to make sure existing residents and community stakeholders have a chance to guide that change.
To that end, the Walnut Hills Redevelopment Foundation, along with the Walnut Hills Area Council, are beginning a community-based planning process to ensure that the residents of Walnut Hills influence the change. We are embarking on the first phase of this process together as a community. To be a part of the Reinvestment Plan from the beginning, attend our kickoff lunch at Fredrick Douglass Elementary School on February 6 from 1pm to 3pm! Lunch will be provided!
When we say “community-based,” we mean it. During the week of February 8th, we will hold community “drill down” sessions in three different areas of Walnut Hills We have been working hard to specifically invite residents of these areas, but we also have extended the invitation to the rest of the Walnut Hills community.
