From highlighting the story of Jim Obergefell, to remembering the life of Leelah Alcorn, to sharing the inspiring story of a transgender youth and her parents, these creators and influencers have told the human stories of our community. All 6 honorees have been instrumental in centering Ohio in the national dialogue around LGBTQ equality.
This is our second annual Cincinnati Allies for Equality. This is our biggest fundraiser in Cincinnati and allows Equality Ohio Education Fund to keep up the work of representing the LGBTQ community statewide. Part of that work is educating the public on the need for a statewide nondiscrimination policy protecting Ohioans from discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation and gender identity/expression.
