Nice place, but not as good as it used to be

I used to see professional guys here after work, but not so much lately. Where are they going now? Nothing wrong with the bar itself though. It is swanky.

Zero

music to loud and sucked, drinks sucked, couple up against the wall over doing it, was with a group of friends and was told to keep it down(just trying to hear each other - music was to loud) but some places it's to low so go figure. Some drunken guy was watching the door and kept coming over to us; I'm thinking he must have had a crush on someone in the group.

No place better to get a drink

Atmosphere, space, drinks are all fantastic. Even the bathroom is always very clean. Great location just a block to the "Gateway Quarter" with unique shopping. Check out gay owned Metronation. Best time to go to BZ if you are looking for a lot of people, is around ten to eleven most nights but especially on Thurs, Fri, and Sat. Patrons are mostly well dressed, educated, professional and well spoken men from 20's to 50's. Don't show up in shorts, leather chaps or sandles with socks! Conversation with patrons is easy, it's not a "hook up bar" so striking up a conversation will not be taken as an attempt to go back to your hotel, even if it is. Just take it easy, it's laid back fun. Most people have to work in the morning, or will be heading off to another spot, as this is usually the first stop of the evening. Tip the bartenders well the pours are good, the beer is cold and they will remember you and what you are drinking.

Cozy piano atmosphere

I wouldn't say Below Zero is something you'd find in New York, but it was a cozy, cute place to go for a nice drink and good company. We went on a piano-bar themed night, and had a nice, comfortable drink on the plush couches in the raised area near the back. The piano area was a little crowded with CCM Musical Theatre students monopolizing the pianist's time, but some of them were cute, and some of them were even talented singers!

Nice atmosphere

So, we are in town for a game with the Reds; walk around with our GPS, and find Below Zero; it is very late already; not many people there; But, everyone that is - is very friedly, and comfortable with "out-siders"; we went back the next nite!
