Good for quick drinks

Stopped in here after the Reds kicked my Cubs ass.. had a drink. The pour was nice and strong. Bartender friendly enough. Mix of people. I did not get the stay and chill vibe, so I went else where. I would not mind trying to give them another chance though.

Simons

Nice drinks, nice bartender, crowd can get kind of segregated sometimes, meet two nice guys though, only went with coworkers which are all straight and they feel the same. Real true good old fashion bar.

I wouldn't if I were you

This used to be a fun little bar. To be very honest, I used to drink too much when I went to bars, and the drinks here like all gay bars are very strong. The point is that several times that I have had a little too much to drink at this bar, I end up a little bit lighter of my things. I have had my wallet stolen, my cell phone stolen, and my house broken into and robbed after a night at this place. There are people that lurk here waiting for someone to have too much to drink and loosen up a little bit and then rob them..This is the only gay bar in Cincinnati that I know of where there is a real danger of getting rolled after a visit there. A few nice guys.

OMG....

The last time i went to simons i couldnt even have fun because the bear was full of hustlers, and the bar is so little you can't even move in it.. I really think they need to buy the place next door and make it bigger so some people can get in..

Great Place, Great Prices, Very Long Happy Hours.

Out of all the gay bars in Cincinnati this one gets my top vote. It's one of the cleanest, inexpensive places to hang out, listen to a great tune, have a great drink, and not walk out feeling like you spent your weeks earnings. Simons has been around and is noted the " Friendly Neighborhood bar. It may be small, but I do like it very much. Anyone traveling and staying downtown should not miss this bar. Day or Night you will have fun. Evening seems to be the time to meet a guy if that's what your looking for. Hat's off to the crew and management. You've done a great job on this one.
